About the Event

After several years of digital presentations, we are finally going back to having an in person education night which will be held at the Fire and Rescue NSW (FRNSW) Headquarters in Greenacre NSW. This will give everybody the opportunity to network the ‘old-fashioned’ way.

For our interstate members or those that cannot make it on the night, don’t worry, a live digital presentation will also be available.

A series of wildland fires occurred in the Western Sydney Parklands between 2019 to 2022. This presentation will demonstrate how persistence in investigating, data collection and mapping each fire event, along with sharing information with NSW Police led to a positive outcome for the local community.
