The AAFI 2016 Organising Committee invites the submission of abstracts for original work for consideration as an oral presentation in the Australasian Association of Fire Investigators Conference 2016 program. Abstract submissions close Thursday, 31 March 2016. The topics covered in the 2016 program will include:
• Vehicle and machinery fires • Case Studies • Wild fires • Interpreting fire and burn patterns • Fire scene safety • Insurance considerations (exclusions, liability, recovery, etc.) • Legal developments in fire and explosion investigations • Fire dynamics • Factors affecting fire origin determination • Marine/ship fires or explosions
