Our first education night of the year focuses on gas systems and how they can contribute to fires. Gas systems are ubiquitous in our society and can be responsible for fires as gas systems typically combine a combustible gas fuel with a readily available heat source. This presentation will feature case studies presented by an experienced gasfitter and fire examiner, who will describe cases where investigation of a gas appliance was an important aspect of the fire investigation.
