The following message has been sent by NZAFI. It is for AAFI association members regarding the 2020 training conference:
"I hope you are all doing well and staying safe during this lockdown period. The purpose of this email is to provide an update on the AAFI 2020 International Training Conference, scheduled for October this year.
Following the Level 4 lockdown, the President called an Emergency Board Meeting to discuss the upcoming event and, acting in the interest of all members, a unanimous decision was reached by the Board that the conference in October must be cancelled. We are looking to postpone this event and details of this will be released as soon as possible.
For those who have paid for registration, you will be contacted directly. Thank you for your ongoing support through these uncertain times." At this stage, the Committee is considering moving the conference to 2021, which will still be held in NZ. Another update will be provided when further details are known.
